A parlay allows bettors to combine multiple wagers on one ticket, incrementally increasing the potential win amount as each additional wager – or leg – is added to the parlay ticket.
How does a Parlay work?
Select as few as two or as many as fifteen teams and combine them into one wager. All selections must win for your parlay to be successful. You can combine spreads, totals and moneyline bet types.
What are the advantages of parlay vs. straight bets?
The main benefit of parlay wagering is that it provides a much higher payoff than if a bettor was to place each wager individually.
What happens if one of the events on a parlay ends in a tie or the event is canceled?
In the case of a tie or no action, the parlay reverts to the next lowest number for pay-off. For example:
- If a bettor has selected a 3 team parlay and one of those events ties or takes no-action, it would roll back to a 2 team parlay.
- If you have a 2 team parlay and one of the picks ties or take no-action it would then be rendered as a no-action for the entire wager.
- Note: You can’t combine ‘correlated’ events into the same parlay ticket.
